Ingredients:
- 1 cup of softened butter
- 1 cup of sugar (white)
- 1 cup of separate brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp of vanilla essence
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp mild hot water
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups of chocolate chips
- 1 cup of almonds or walnuts
Directions
- Start with pre heating your oven up to 350 degrees. Mix butter, brown sugar and white sugar and blend it till it becomes smooth as a cream. When the mixture is ready start adding eggs, one at a time. Beat till they foam up. Once the eggs are ready with the mixture add vanilla extract and beat for another 5 seconds. Now dissolve the baking soda in the hot water. Add baking soda in the prepare batter with a pinch of salt. Now mix with the batter chocolate chips and nuts.
- Put the batter in whatever shape you want on an ungreased pan.
- Let it bake for at least 10 minutes or till the edges turn nice brown and crispy. Let it cool down before removing from the pan.
